Naturalistic experiences in Italy and Lapland

One of my favourite activities here in Finland is going for hikes. The landscape are very different from the ones I am used to in Italy.
Especially now that the snowing season has began, everything is White and looks Amazing.

The good thing about national parks here is that they are for free. In italy you have to pay an entry ticket for most of them. Even though you have to pay to get in , the facilities are not Always the best.

Another difference between national parks in the South of Italy and Finland is the kind of animals you can meet walking on the path. In Italy is common to see different kinds of birds in the Woods, in Finland reindeers and mouse are everywhere.

The park  we visited in Southern Lapland is excellent for families with children and for those who wish to go on an active Holiday, there, it is possible to do sooo many activities! From skiing to canoying, trekking, biking..... It is also good to know that, some parts are also suitable for the disabled.

There, I had definitely one of the best hiking experiences I ever had.

The nature and the landscape reminded me of Narnia world. It is just so beautiful.

When we got to the park we knew we would just have couple of hours more with some light so, we asked at the info point at the entrance of the park which path we could safely go within that time.
Asking at the info point is Always a good thing in this situations.
Especially in this case,  we asked info because on the map we found on internet, there are marked trekking routes and nature trails for day trips or for longer hikes (122 km), canoe route (22 km),  ski trails (33 km), which are part of the network of ski trails in the Syöte region.
Following the instruction of the guide, we took this path (around 3 km) that was pretty easy and even but very beautiful. We meet a reindeer on our way!!
